Barnett Freedman (1901–1958) was a British painter, commercial designer, book illustrator, typographer, and lithographer. He graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1925. He illustrated books for the Limited Editions Club and Heritage Press, and during World War II he was a full-time salaried war artist for the War Artists' Advisory Committee. After the war he taught at the Royal College of Art and Ruskin School of Art. In 1935 he design the Claudia initials for Baynard Press. See more of his work here.
