Ben Kiel is a typeface designer, graphic designer, and educator. He runs Typefounding, a typeface design and production studio in Saint Louis, Missouri. Before starting Typefounding, he worked at House Industries where he worked as a typeface designer, director, and developer. At House, he worked as part of the team that developed the online Photo-Lettering service. He teaches at Washington University in Saint Louis and at the Type@Cooper program in New York City.
