Max Bill in his studio in Zürich-Höngg with
stamp design presentation, in 1935

Max Bill: Typography, Advertising, Book Design
As far as I can tell, this stamp design was never issued.
The design is far ahead of its time for Swiss stamps
of that period, as most Swiss stamps at that time
featured engraved portraits and landscapes.
Max Bill (1908–1994) was a Swiss architect, artist, painter, typeface designer, industrial designer, and graphic designer. A student of the Bauhaus, he was a cofounder (with Otl Aicher) of the Ulm School of Design. Learn more about his work here.
